KMSoffline is a free application that allows you to activate Microsoft Windows 8, 10, or 11 in just 2 clicks. The process of obtaining a free license will be described below, but first, let’s briefly review the program. You can also download the latest version via the direct link, relevant for 2024.
Activator Description
The main working area of this activator is shown in the screenshot below. We can select the product for which the free license is provided, the activation server, obtain diagnostic information, install the license key separately, or simply activate Windows 11.
How to Activate Windows
Let’s take a closer look at the process of activating the operating system using KMSoffline:
- First, you need to disable Windows 10 Defender. This is done temporarily, and after a certain period, the software will automatically re-enable. Type the name of the software in the search bar and select the necessary result from the list.
- Click on the “Manage settings” link.
- Go through all the triggers and disable all protection modules.
- Now you can proceed to the activation itself. Download the archive, and using the attached password, extract all the necessary data. Determine the bitness of your operating system beforehand and run the corresponding version of KMSoffline.EXE.

- Continue the activation process. In the next step, select the product and click the button marked with a red frame.
- After a few seconds, the free license will be provided. You will see the corresponding message in the main window of the application.
Additional Functions
Let’s review the additional features of KMSoffline. The “Main Window” tab contains tools for automatic operating system activation. There is also some additional functionality, such as displaying license information or selecting an activation server.
Let’s move on to the next tab called “Tools and Settings”. There is also additional functionality, such as automatic GVLK key installation, KMS server installation, or Windows Defender disabling.
