The Windows Server 2016 Standard operating system can be activated using a purchased license key or for free. In the second case, it involves using a special activator, which we will discuss further.
The activator in question is a completely free application that does not require installation. To obtain a free Windows license, you need to perform a few simple steps:

If you have antivirus software installed on your server or local computer, you need to disable it beforehand. Otherwise, the activator will simply not work or will be immediately deleted.

- To activate, press the corresponding button after launching the program.
- Press the button again and proceed to the next step.
- Next, you will be asked to confirm the activation license key. Click “Continue”.
- After a few seconds, the operating system will be activated. All debug information is displayed at the bottom of the window.
- If the OS is updated or due to antivirus activity, the activation may be lost. To restore it automatically, you can create a corresponding task. Just click “Yes” in the small window.
